The first edition of Grab Bag, this week’s trio of singles are 2 servings of electro (with a dash of remixed rock), served hot. For desert, artsy Japanese electronica that I’m sure most of you have never tasted.

Birdy Nam Nam came out of nowhere, and is going somewhere – fast. The weird vocals in “Trans Boulogne Express” around the 2 minute mark will make you want to spaz out.

The G.E.R.M. remix of The Locarnos is dark, yet speedy enough to make you flail about when the strobe light should go off at 4’17″. When I hear music, I see lights – don’t you?

Lastly, we have Cornelius serving up an exotic delicacy, with one of the best breakdowns I’ve ever heard at at 3’50″.
