Remixes by 25 Hours A Day

Can you remix rock music without adding electronic elements? If you’re 25 Hours A Day, the answer is yes. I don’t know how he does it, but this guy reworks the guitar elements already inside a great rock song and makes it even better. I can’t dance to many rock songs without a synthetic bass line or melody, but these tracks are the exception:

Remixes by Bob Sinclar

French house legend Bob Sinclar has been around a lot longer than most people realize. Although his recent productions are a bit too mainstream and poppy for my tastes, his old remixes are something I’ll value forever. All of these tracks are extremely swanky. Try not to feel like an international gigolo while listening to the first two…

Remixes by Aeroplane

Aeroplane makes lovely, smooth remixes with slow, silky disco vibes. The remix of Cut Copy improves on what is already a wonderful track. The remix of Low Motion Disco doesn’t get to the best part until after the 5 minute mark, but it’s worth the wait. The remix of David Rubato is creative, as the original track is not nearly as chilled out as Aeroplane’s interpretation.
